Hello,

I am thinking about switching over the a Mac. does anybody here use adobe CS3 on a mac mini? if so do the applications - flash cs3, photoshop, dreamweaver - run smoothly enough to design animations & manipulate photos? or would it be better to plum for a imac or macbook? 😕

thanks for your input

A mac mini is adequate for photo work; I routinely run Aperture and PSCS3 concurrently. Can't tell you about the others as I don't use them. Just make sure you get 2 gigs of RAM since the Mini uses 80 mb of your RAM for video.

The Mini can manage those programs no problem. To be honest, they're not exactly demanding. You could run Photoshop on a 450Mhz G3.

I'd recommend 2Gb of RAM if you can afford it.

The Mini's do tend to load up programs a bit slower because of there 5400RPM hard drives, but once they're up and running they're fine.
