Does anyone use a mac mini with final cut pro?I'm looking to get a new desktop to run FCP on and im considering a new mac mini or imac. Just wanted to know if anyone had any issues with this?or any advice?

Thanks

It will be fine. I would suggest getting the 2.5,or better yet get the 2.66 CPU model. They both come with 4 gigs of ram,and can now be expanded to 8 gigs if you buy two 4 gig sticks of ram...which can get a tad pricey at about $200-$220 a stick, but you can do that one stick at a time if you even wanted to go that route.

Question? Does memory play that big of a role in editing? I know the CPU does, but I'm not sure on the memory.

Edit: One thing I did want to add is I suggested the 2.66 CPU,but wow that thing gets pricey, and at that point you are getting into iMac territory price wise.
