mac mini and ilife.....

just recieved my lovely new mac mini yesterday after ordering it on sunday, more than satisfied with delivery!

here's the spec: 512mb ram, 1.25ghz, bluetooth/airport extreme, 80gb hdd, combo drive...

i know it's not amaaaazing but then my AlBook 15" superdrive does EVERYTHING....

here's my question: where the HELL is iLife 05?

Not in the box... ok maybe they've changed the images now and are putting it on the machine.... set it up... nope, not there.... look on install CDs.... not there either...

damn it! where is my ilife 05 suite!?!?
 
In my Mac mini box, iLife '05 was on a separate CD that I had to install myself... inside the grey "Designed by Apple in California" fold-up sleeve.

EDIT: Just occurred to me that it's a DVD, not a CD. 😱

Yep.. i got a separate dvd.. call apple and ask for it
 
Ouch, thats a bummer if you didnt recieve the DVD.

But my question is, whats with your uber-fast shipping time? You ordered it on Sunday (the 13th) and recieved it on the 16th?? That means little to no shipping out time. Are all orders shipped this quickly? I'm just asking because I ordered about 3 weeks ago, and it has yet to ship. (Probably because I'm in Canada 🙁)

I ordered mine on 02/08 and it was supposed to ship on 03/03. I then changed one or two specs like three days later and now it's scheduled to ship on 03/10. I'm in Michigan.
 
about to call them now and kick up a fuss 🙂

not sure, was soooo suprised it arrived so fast, customised and all!


hope your ones get to you soon guys!

Same for me as well... but they did boost my shipping to 2nd day air. I hope they send it this week instead of... 2 weeks from now.
