So I assume you just have the Mini hard wired to your router and boom, you are golden? I have the PS3 hard wired and simply couldnt get streaming to work well enough. Should my concern be the same for the Mini?

I streamed DVDs from my PC to my ATV without issue over wireless G.

I streamed DVDs from my PC to my ATV without issue over wireless G.

I wonder if my network is the problem then, or it was my PS3? Who cares anymore, I just came back from getting my Mac Mini.

I cant wait to get home. I may try to slip a Tylenol PM into her mashed potatoes tonight! :D

Im thinking about how to set this up. Anyone have any suggestions on certain apps I should look into? I know about Boxee and Plex. Any other good ones out there?

I'm preferring Plex to Boxee right now. The only thing I really find myself missing from the ATV is the Internet radio station section. I'm sure I can add audio streams, I just need to figure it out and configure all the ones I want to listen to. The quality of streaming content varies depending on the provider, I just watched an episode of the Daily Show and it looked really good.

i dont have any issue's with my mini streaming hardwired as it decodes the vidoes itself were in the ps3 case i had the media center program had to do it then stream it so there is the problem and i can do it wireless if i wanted but i dont

Itunes..on mac Mini

I have just bought the Mac Mini and am trying to get Itunes to see the music stored on the external hard drive. I have managed to get front row to see the films folder but would ideally like to get music from hard drive playing via front row , plex or any other sourse that looks good.
Tried changing location in the preference tab on itunes but this didn't seem to work.....:confused::confused:

Any advice re setting this up most welcome;);

Steve

well here is a simple idea for ur itunes create a libary playlist like export libary and it will then let on the new machine recreate it on the new one when u say import just make sure ur itunes is pointed to the right folder/harddrive with the music in it
