Mac Mini + BM eGPU + Dell 49 UltraSharp U4919DW

Hi there,

At the moment I'm using the Dell 49 UltraSharp U4919DW with my Macbook Pro running the 5k2k resolution all fine. Lately I've been thinking about getting myself a Mac Mini, but apparently the integrated graphics does not support the native resolution of the monitor. To solve that I thought of buying a BM eGPU, but before doing so, I want to be absolutely sure, that the setup supports the native 5k2k solution of the monitor. Anyone able to confirm that?

That depends on the graphic card, which black magic model, honestly I would recommend a egpu with 5700xt

I have the 3818UW running 3880x1600. How much do you like the 49? I am running the tricvked out Mini but may add the eGPU too unless Big Sur can handle the 49. Thinking of going bigger to the 49. Do you love it?
