Understand that, but look at digital camera companies that have excess inventory because their hopes we too high. So far shortages have only helped Apple long term.
 
Come ON guys! What happened to your local Apple stores? Forget about that or something?

My local store is getting a HUGE full truck load of iPod Shuffles, Mac Mini's, iLife05, and almost everything else that was intro'd on the 11th in on Monday.

That's where Im gonna be come 10am Monday. :)

Well they *are* almost free ;)

FWIW I ordered my Mini practically while Steve was still on stage (took about 1000 firefox tabs to get all the way to confirmed checkout) and my ship date still says by Jan 21...
