Mac Mini DVI compatability?

Hey all,

I just got me a new monitor - 20" Widescreen, with both VGA and DVI connections. The DVI doesn't seem to work with the mac mini though (G4). Same DVI cable and monitor work fine with my PC though, so it's definitely the mac at fault here I think? Reset PMU, PRAM, NVRAM etc to no avail. Monitor works fine over VGA link.... Anyone experienced this sort of thing and got any suggestions?

this site lists what displays are mac mini dvi compatible with the video card. It seems that your model has worked for some and not for others. I bought a monitor a few weeks ago that had the same dirty signal from dvi and it worked fine with vga. Since then I've replaced it with a different brand and it works fine.
