As a side note, MR really needs a vehicle subforum where people could post builds on their vehicles!!
One could always post in the "Car thread on the Community Forum", it already has upwards of 4K posts last time I checked, and is very active.

W2K is really running smooth on my iBookG4 1.2GHz with VirtualPC7. I can even establish a VPN-connection to my office-server... So with your mini you can certainly run your prog too...I did plug it into a Kill-a-Watt meter, drew 13w at idle, 2w when sleeping. Coworker's C2D 2.66 mini drew 7w at idle.
I think today I'll run a Geekbench test on it. I'd love to make it a NAS and replace a C2D 2.4 Optiplex 755 USFF, but I need a program that is Windows only. The program (HFS - HTTP File Server) will run under Windows 2000 though!
Glad to hear you are feeling better.I am glad we don't have rust like the fellas on the east coast!
I've been doing fine, not really sore anymore which is excellent! Put a new Pioneer deck in the dodge today but the bummer thing I found out - only the front speakers work. No idea why or how, so I need to fix that. Plugged in the stock CD player and same issue.

Nice dude! I am a Toyota fan myself. My '93 4Runner's HG finally blew at 225k, I'm doing a full rebuild. Just waiting on the engine shop to be finished with the block/heads.Soo, on the topic of the Mini... I managed to pick one up for free from a friend that got it for free from another friend. Ha!
He was headed out to Japan for the next two years in the Marines and hasn't used it in a while as its only purpose was to hold his iTunes library and sync his iPod touch so he let me have it since I like Macs.
It's a mostly bone stock original Mac mini 1.42 GHz model, 80GB HDD, has 1GB of RAM installed, came with a pretty clean install of Leopard on it that looks like it was installed in 2011, no AP or BT however.

Haven't decided exactly what to do with it, but I'm sure I can figure something out as long as it's wired in somewhere.
Also, nice trucks y'all. I've been pretty much stuck to one brand my whole life but might make a change next time, we'll see. My first truck was a 2004 Toyota Tundra, then I moved to a 2009 5.7L Tundra that I had for 5 years and just picked up a '16 Tacoma in December. I mostly love it but it's been to the dealer 3 times already to have things fixed and it's there now too. Mostly cosmetic or annoyance issues like fender flares not properly attached, gauge cluster replacement due to resetting trip meters, squeaky as all heck leaf springs, etc. Sure is fun though, despite it's lack of power compared to my old V8 Tundra. Little better on gas though (17-18 MPG vs 13-14).

I'd consider an F150 EB or tuned 5.0 in the future but for now the midsize market is on fire and it's a great fit for me and my garage. Though I could see myself getting another Tundra in the future if they ever decide to update the poor thing. A 2016 isn't far off from my 2009, same engine, same transmission, same frame, same MPG, just different looks.

I installed Leopard server on my G4 mini some days ago (got it at a very low price in ebay) and now it's a really usefull toy!I'm tore up on that idea, maybe a little NAS, Spotify music mac, I really have no clue. Actually more than anything it'll probably just sit on my shelf.
