Mac Mini G4

Hi everyone,

just a quick one, i just got myself a mac mini g4 model: A1103

I was wondering is it possible to buy one of PATA IDE to SATA Card Adapter Converter and change the HDD for a SSD 🙂

Any ideas?

An adaptor might run you into space problems.

But you can just buy an IDE (PATA) SSD instead...

OWC sells the mercury made in USA IDE SSD's, I use several of thier SATA SSD's and have had very good resulys with them.

I had a Transcend 32GB in my Mini for some years (has now been moved to an Efika5200B serving as mini-server) but in these days and ages you should get 128GB for the same price I paid.
