So the Mac Mini runs at 3x faster than a MacBook Air with the M1 chip. Apple dropped the ball and didn’t include an HDMI 2.1 port. I’ve spent the last year and half purging 60Hz displays from my life. And the MacMini would connect to the LG C9 or a Gaming monitor not for gaming of course. But everything is so much smoother and less eye fatigue at 120hz which the Mac Mini would need to output 4K@120hz HDR.

Is there any chance Apple adds HDMI 2.1 to the MacMini ?

does thought have a source?
Yeah if you go ahead and type that into Google you'll find that TB3/2015 supports 1 monitor at 4K 120Hz over USB-C
And TB4 will support 1 monitor at 8K 60Hz but still won't do 2x 4K 120Hz.

And a real gpu will have several Displayport 1.4 ports, but eGpu isn't on deck yet for M1
