Mac mini hdmi sound issue help

Ive recently brought a new mac mini for a htpc... im connecting it to my tv through hdmi but the sound is so low even on the highest setting... i dont have surround sound or anything like that but i do have PS3 and Sky HD and sound output is not a problem...

Anyone any ideas?

Is it definitely coming out of your TV speakers and not the Minis? You may need to look at System Prefs>Sound and either change the output to HDMI there, or mess with the settings to boost the volume.

Im such an idiot!!! Didnt even realise the mac mini had a speaker... have sorted problem out now... thanks a lot 😀
