I could really use some help.
I’ve been using my Mac mini for about two weeks now, and over the last two days I’ve started experiencing a very frustrating issue. If the Mac mini goes to sleep overnight, it won’t wake up the next day. Pressing keys on my keyboard does nothing, Bluetooth won’t reconnect, and both of my monitors simply display “No Signal.” The only way to get it working again is to force a restart, which obviously isn’t something I should have to do on a brand-new computer.
This only started happening after installing the latest macOS Tahoe 26.6 update, so I’m wondering if the update introduced a bug.
I’ve searched online and discovered that I’m far from the only person experiencing this issue, which makes me think it’s software-related rather than a hardware defect.
For me, reliability is one of the main reasons I chose Apple over Windows. I expected a computer that would “just work,” especially considering the premium price. Having to force-restart the system every time it sleeps overnight is simply unacceptable and really hurts my confidence in the platform.
Has anyone found a reliable fix or workaround? I’d especially like to know if disabling certain sleep settings or changing power management options has solved it for anyone.
I genuinely enjoy using the Mac mini and would hate to return it or switch back to a custom-built Windows PC because of something that appears to be a software issue. I’m really hoping Apple is aware of this.
