Just ordered my first Mac Mini, a Pro M4 version. I use PC's now but am switching. While I am in the process, I'll be connecting my Mac using a Dell D6000 hub (at least going to try it). that way my monitors are already connected along with a keyboard. I have the hub connected to a KVM switch so I can go back and forth easily. Question is, will the old D6000 hub work OK? I don't really care about speed on the USB ports just wondering if it will feed to the monitors OK. If not I am considering a Dell WD22TB4 which has faster connections. Again, the reason for these hubs is ease of connection to my KVM switch. Looking at a SATECHI hub when the new ones come out in 2025. Thanks!

In general - don't buy a multi-display dock/hub without checking that it advertises support for multiple displays on Mac. Thunderbolt 3/4 hub/docks should be OK, but USB-C ones with multiple displays either use DisplayLink (which should work - but with caveats) or DIsplayPort MST "daisy chaining" (which won't work on Mac).

The D6000 uses DisplayLink to support multiple displays over USB, so in theory it should work if you install the Mac DisplayLink drivers: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/...isplaylink-docking-stations-and-macos-support - whether it will play nice with your KVM I don't know. DisplayLink might introduce artefacts/latency because it uses compression to send video across USB.

The WD22TB4 apparently now supports Mac (https://www.delltechnologies.com/as...olt-dock-wd22tb4-with-apple-compatibility.pdf) and so should "just work" support multiple displays without using DisplayLink. Again, in theory. However, I'm 99% sure that your KVM *won't* work with this as it is a Thunderbolt device.

Stumbled across this which may be of interest to you if it's the switching facility that you really want: https://sabrent.com/pages/sb-tb4k?srsltid=AfmBOoqFDzcpoiY8O8TDqfkPBbQj6o5Qjarf4ujNkmdSI6kU5AwZYP3m
...pricey, though but you wouldn't need a dock as well. I guess your DisplayPort displays would work off this with regular USB-C to DisplayPort adapter cables.
