So strange thing. I received my Mac Mini early Friday but when I go to my Apple Order it says it is delayed. I click track shipment and it just says Label Created. I looked at the UPS Tracking Apple has and it’s a different number then the tracking on my box.

I did a trade-in of my M1 iMac. Is the fact Apple doesn’t think it has been delivered screw up the Trade-In? Do I just leave well enough alone and follow through on the trade? Should I contact Apple?

Placed my order Nov 1, this morning's status said 1-2 weeks, showing "shipping to store" as opposed to "processing". The original date quotes was December 10, so even two weeks will be a reduction in time to deliver.

Nov 11 update - now showing pickup this Friday.

Nov 13 update - picked it up 1.5 hours ago

I ordered the new Mac mini a few minutes after the preorders went live last week, with delivery date of today (Friday Nov 8), but my UPS tracking is at:

Nov 2 2024
8:18 P.M.
On the Way
Arrived at Facility
Louisville, KY, United States

and hasn't moved since. I assume I'm not the only one with this issue. I was hoping to get it set up over the weekend!
I ordered early like you, but UPS has my M4 Mac mini in a nearby location since very early Friday, Nov 8. They now plan to deliver it Tuesday, Nov 12. UPS sure knows how to over-promise and under-deliver. They're very consistent at that.

Ordered a day after announcement (Oct 30), mini pro, 14/20 cores, 48GB / 2TB. Original shipping estimate from Apple was Nov 21 - Dec 2. Now says coming Tuesday Nov 12. Nice!

Man, waiting for my Mini to Leave Hong Kong, looks like the Next UPS flight (5X55) is leaving in 2 hours...lucky box, gets to fly on a 747, too...

EDIT: Landed at the UPS WorldPort at 7pm, I might get it even sooner than Thursday! Woohoo!

EDITEDIT: OH yeah, forgot to mention, it arrived TUESDAY, two days sooner. Of course, I had to wait until the keyboard and trackpad came in on WEDNESDAY before I could play with it. But yeah, it's pretty nice to mess with and it's ridiculously tiny for the powerhouse it says it is. :D Guess I'll have to really test it soon.

Are they by chance sending you a special container for shipping the trade-in iMac or something? Does the mystery tracking # have a weight listed? They've been doing trade-ins so long it would seem weird for them to mix it up.

Mine was sheduled to be delivered tomorrow.
The tracking was all over the place since days.
I even thought it could be lost.
But got it in just 1hr ago.
mini-pro / 14core / 24GB / 2TB, delivered to central europe

Mine just arrived... I'm at work so letting my 8yo who is off school today try to set it up.

The trade-in box came Fedex this morning. On the original Mac Mini box I pealed off the UPS label and the other Tracking label was under it with all my order number and everything like normal. The original label wasn’t damaged in anyway just covered up by a new label.

I just put the iMac in the trade-in box and dropped it back off at FedEx. I am just going to let Apple worry about it. I got charged for the Mini.

My UPS tracking still hasn't moved since my previous post (it's still in KY since Nov 2) so I had to call Apple today and they will start an investigation with UPS and after 2-3 business days (once the investigation completes) they will send me a replacement Mac mini

Imagine how everyone would feel about yesteryear when it took about 30 days or more to get something from china.
Cows would be born in time and chickens would be hatched by the time things arrived back then. lol!
We are all so spoiled with how fast we can get things in our hands now.
Back then you might even forget you ordered something it took so long.

I ordered mine Nov 9 and currently in "preparing to ship" so I hope I get it early next week!

base model
512GB ssd was only upgrade

I cannot WAIT 😀😀😀

Orders on Thea still moving out further. I held off hoping the delays would shrink. They’ve gotten worse. Now over three weeks. Lead times on macbook pros are much shorter. TBH if I thought I could get away with a 512gb ssd id buy a base pro model I could pick up in store and order the one I want. And then send back the base. That always seems wrong to me and like ones abusing the returns policy.

Just realized a week ago that my trusty old iMac Pro is from 2017. I immediately ordered a Mac Mini M4 Pro (base model other than 2TB SSD)...on November 20, Apple-predicted delivery Dec 2nd - 5th. Just went "Preparing to Ship" earlier today. Coming from Malaysia IIUC. I also ordered a 2nd Studio Display, which was already delivered.
