I have the cheapest Mac mini 2011 which has a dual core Intel i5-2410M CPU. I was trying to run the Intel x86 Android image in the emulator but the emulator complains no hardware virtualization is supported. However from Intel's official page (see below) the hardware virtualization is supported for i5-2410M.

I googled a lot but everyone says there is no hardware virtualization for the low end Mac mini 2011. So I was really confused.

The motherboard also has to support virtualization, it's not enough that the CPU does.
