Would a Mac Mini look good on a 22" HD TV? Make is Kenmark.

I don't want it looking distorted or anything. Thanks.

Just make sure you run it at the native resolution.

It's not so much the screen size but the native resolution. The Mini can output 1920x1200 which is your typical 23"+ monitor. Some 60" TVs can have a 1920x1080p and the Mini would work on that. 22" or less is usually 1680x1050 resolution. The native resolution of a monitor is the max(and recommended) resolution the display can support without "scaling" which usually distorts the image.

The Mini however can't hook up to the 30" monitors as those are 2560x1600 as those require a dual-link DVI connection.

What is the max resolution of your 22" TV?

Now we are talking about HD ready and full HD. HD ready, which is the most common HDTV resolution/display type is 1280x768 (it was ~1200x720 when it was released) and I think that his 22" is HD ready. HD readys are available in every size (~17"-70").

Then the full HD. It's 1920x1080 and is coming more popular because TV's prices are going down. I got 32" full HD Sony, it's nice to play PS3 on it. Full HD is more expensive and is available in bigger sizes (37"+) but there are 26" too but there is no big difference in such a small TV.

The *best* screensize combo for the Mac Mini, in my opinion, is the 23" or 24" display. You can grab a 24" DVI display on the cheap now, probably around $250. This size will allow you to run at 1920x1200, which gives you great screen space at this resolution, and it looks great. I am using an ACD 23" with my MacBook Pro and love it. I had a 30" and did not like it, so I sold it. The 23" puts everything in your immediate viewing area so you don't have to tilt your head, and you can keep the display at a comfortable distance. 24" would do just the same.
