MAC Mini Question

    i have mac mini

    i cannot able to voice chat when i attach head phone

    also please check attach image

    can you tell me what is the use of that port?

    I think that is the line in port, so you could plug a microphone into it.

    i think the microphone plug is near to it with microphone symbol

    Did you go to system preferences then sound and set up the input tab the way you wanted it?

    Yes it is. The one next to it is for speakers/headphones.

    That port is audio-in/Optical audio-in. It requires either a optical input or a powered mic. You cannot directly use a non-powered mic.
