Mac mini RAM needed?

Hi all.

I'm looking at some cheap memory to upgrade my Mac mini's memory from 1GB to 2GB.

What kind do I need? Can it be PC memory or does it have to be Mac memory?

I have an current Model Intel C2D 1.83Ghz model with 4GB installed. Only ~3GB is usable.

Mac Mini's use laptop memory: SODIMM PC5300 667Mhz 200 Pin

Some places list it as PC5400 ... same stuff though.

I have used Crucial memory with out issue from newegg. I would also check out Other World Computing.

I put 2x 1GB memory in my 1.83 mhz mac mini last week and it works well.
I also put in a 320GB 7200 rpm Western Digital disk at the same time.
The parts I used came from newegg and the memory was Mushkin.

You could get these much cheaper on NewEgg. I got mine for $30 after rebates.

I love Patriot ram, its wonderful, never had a problem with it once, I have used in a slew of Macs and Dells!!!!

And its only 19.99 so you can get 2GB for 39.98 pulis shipping which is a steal!!!
