I am finding my Mac mini M2Pro running Sonoma at least 4-5 degrees C hotter compared to Ventura

Is this a bug?
Or do I need to revert back to Ventura?

You may check the Activity Monitor and likely the mdworker processes are active. The indexing will settle down after sometime and the system will become calmer.

But in case you have other busy processes, it could be a different issue.

My Mac mini M2Pro runs hot by at least 7 degrees C when idle with nothing running.

When I start to use it it starts to cool down

The problem started with Sonoma and later updates

In Ventura it used to be around 38-39 degrees but in Sonoma it goes up to 46-49 degrees

Even Mac mini feels hot
I checked this with all cores and graphics
