My prediction: a totally underwhelming update. Base model updated to 2GB RAM and maybe a 250GB hard drive. In other words, if you want a Mini with 4GB/500GB, there will be no benefit - you'll just be removing more RAM and HD to upgrade it. Would love to see the base model have the 2.26Ghz processor, but based on the current retail price of this processor, I don't see it happening.Unfortunately I went and bought one a week and a half ago not thinking they would update. I already ordered the 4 gig of ram and 500gb 7200 rpm drive to go inside. As long as they don't put a better video card or bluray in it I will be fine but if they do that I will be upset.
The case didn't, but the internals are entirely different. They changed from the cr@p Intel GMA integrated graphics to the NVIDIA 9400m. They also went from a socketed CPU to being soldered to the logicboard.I thought the last one was a spec-bump. The design of the case didn't change.
