it was my understanding that you the chips in the macbook and macbook pro are not able to be removed and replaced....i think

damnit! this sucks.. i just bought a MBP for $2000 🙁 So, we are just guinea pigs for Intel/Apple? These new chips willbe a whole lot faster and run @ lower temps too....doh!!
