I recently upgraded my processor and the mini works fine, but the specs are same as the old processor, still says 1.66 ghz which is 32 bit, I put a 2.2 ghz 64 bit processor? Is there something I need to do to make it recognize the new processor?:(

Not that I've ever done this, but on iFixit there is this software step for running Lion and such.

    Maybe it will help you:

The Intell T7500 is not a supported CPU in the Mac Mini 2006-2007. It doesn't support the Mini's slower bus speed of 667Mhz, only 800Mhz. The fastest CPU the 2006-2007 Mac Mini's can support is the Intell T7600. The newer MacMini2,1 firmware is unlikely to correct the problem you are having as it too does not support 800Mhz bus speed CPUs and it is not needed when running a T7600.
