    Hi,
I have been looking at buying a new mini Mac to upgrade myself and have a some questions that I'm not sure on!

I am looking at getting the entry level 2.3ghz 500gb and updating the ram to 8gb which I know can be done. What I am unsure about is -

Can I upgrade the HD to 1gb and install a separate SSD?

Can I put Win 7 and OS X on the SSD as duel boot?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Chadchandler

One or the other. There is no bracket or connector to add a second one.

Thats the only way to do it.

You are mistaken on that point. There is room in the 2011 mini for 2 hard drives, since there is no DVD drive.

You can have a ssd as your main drive and a hdd for storage. You have to tear the whole thing apart and buy a special kit to accomplish it though.

Correct, but there is no bracket or cable.

That's why you need the kit. The 2011 mini can have 2 internal hard drives if that's what the user wants.
