I am considering ditching cable TV and buying TV shows and movies. I live in Canada, so do not have the ability to access sites like Hulu or Netflix to download TV shows and movies directly to a Mac Mini or Apple TV. I can only buy these shows from iTunes to the best of my knowledge. With my viewing being restricted to iTunes content, would you recommend Apple TV or a Mac Mini?

You CAN access US streams in Canada with a little trick.
You can also rent movies in the US iTunes store if you create a US account an fund it with itunes gift cards.
AppleTV is much easier to use than a Mini and less expensive -you will love it.

I did that last month, I have 3 Apple TVs, running of one iTunes library, with shows and Movies etc. Love it, not missing cable one bit.
