mac mini video loop help

I am looking to buy a Mac mini - 2.3Ghz i5/ 2Gb/ 500Gb for projection of video, with a High definition projector.
The file of the video is 30gb. what would be the most suitalble file for this and what is a good loop program to play the video on?

shift+command+L in quicktime player (just command+L in quicktime 7) will play the video in a loop. How long is this clip? If it's 2 hours and 30GB it's not very high bit rate so you could just play natively. If it's 3 minutes and 30GB it may be too complex to play without transcoding. What format is it currently in? We need more info.
