    Graphics and video support:

    * Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory1
    * DVI video output to support digital resolutions up to 1920 by 1200 pixels; supports 20-inch Apple Cinema Display and 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display; supports coherent digital displays up to 154MHz; supports noncoherent digital displays up to 135MHz
    * VGA video output (using included adapter) to support analog resolutions up to 1920 by 1080 pixels
    * S-video and composite video output to connect directly to a TV or projector (using Apple DVI to Video Adapter, sold separately)

    Snipped from http://www.apple.com/macmini/specs.html

Looks to me like you could easily drive an HD display

My Mini HT plays 1080 over-the-air signals just fine with EyeTV Hybrid.

Those are just recommended specs. Notice they also mention 128MB graphics card.. definitely not something to be found in a Mac Mini.

    Mac mini on a 42" Toshiba -

I've searched and searched with no answers, so maybe my question is VERY fundamental and i'm just not seeing it. I've recently set up my mac mini with my 42" Toshiba and it's working pretty well. However, I was expecting some way to change the sizes of everything (text, windows, menus, buttons, etc...) in a global way. Something like an option for the visually impaired that would just increase the size of everything without sacrificing the quality that comes with the high resolution.

I know you can decrease the resolution, but that's obviously not ideal. It looks really great at in highest res, I was just hoping that i might be able to read text off the screen while siting on my couch. Does anyone have any ideas besides playing with the resolution? Currently I'm using zoom and text enlargements as a temporary solution...

    Thanks so much!
