hi everyone! I am finally almost ready to get my first mac and need some help. I'm looking at a 13" or low end 15" MBP and heres what my needs are. i'm a musician so i will be recording myself and other bands. not huge productions just legit sounding demos. i will use garageband for now but plan to get logic studio in the future. i also want to trigger an AU drum kit within garageband and logic when i play live at my church. also video editing for youtube so nothing super HQ 720P at the most. i will not be gaming, never been a PC gamer i'm a console guy. that's about it and of course everyday stuff, email web surfing ect.

If you can afford the base 15", get it as the extra horsepower can't be bad and the extra pixels are also crucial. I'd also get the hi res screen

Get the best you can afford!

Both of those machines will cut the mustard, but the i5 15" mbp, will cut the mustard for longer.

(Also punctuation, capitalisation and paragraphs are your friend...not only does it make things easier to read, but makes you look like you've got more to say as well ;) )
