Mac Newbie waiting on mailman!

Hi all!

I ordered my first Mac today. After much research about the refurbs i ordered a reburbished aluminum macbook today! I can't wait!

I have some mac experience through a video game design class that i took... it required me to use one since there were no pc's... but i don't have much.

Anyway, I'm well aware there is a search function as I've been spying around for awhile. I'll try to keep the newbie questions to a minimum. It should be here Monday and I can't wait! I also ordered a 16gb ipod touch as i feel its time to upgrade from my 30gb classic and i bought a last gen shuffle for my daughter...

Anyway, great forum... glad I found the place!

I would love to have more apple toys... Oh how i wish Verizon had the iphone!
 
Congrats on your new macbook, can I ask which model you went for. Whichever you went for you will love it.
 
Congrats, I just got my Aluminum MacBook about 2 weeks ago and I love it. I got the 2.4GHz model and upgraded it to 4GB of RAM (very simple btw). This is quicker than any PC I've ever had and you gotta love Leopard, I haven't went back to Windows since I bought my Mac Mini back in January.

thanks, I just got the 13" 2.0Ghz model. I do have intentions to upgrade to 4gm of ram and a larger hard drive.

It came! It was waiting on me when i came home from work!

She's a beauty!

Got her all setup and am doing updates while it charges...

Had a little bit of a hassle getting it connected to my home network but managed to get that squared away...

I've been doing the same thing waiting on my ipod touch 16gb!

It was suppose to be here today...*sigh*
