    Hi All,

Today is my first day as a mac convert and im looking for a good media player to play my iso's, dvd rip's etc. I used to use a combination of VLC and Media Player Classic on Windows. Whats the best osx equivalent ?

Congrats on your Mac. There is tons of software for Mac out there, even if most software is for Windows. You should have absolutely no troubles, because Quicktime can play many files, even using perian and Flip4mac. However, like Windows Media Player, it will still not play everything. You should be happy though that VLC has a native Mac version and the pre-installed DVD playing application on your Mac should play DVD folders or DVD isos.

I use VLC constantly. It plays pretty much anything you throw at it.

For me its got to be quicktime + Flip4Mac + Perian.

That lets me play almost anything on my Mac
