Hi all,

I have a 2009 macbook pro on mountain lion with a reasonably newly added crucial 960 in it (early November?).

I've noticed recently that it is becoming very sluggish, if not unresponsive, when I choose to restart/shutdown. Sometimes it has needed up to 10 attempts at clicking shutdown for it to actually respond. I've left it a few minutes as well to see if it is just slow, but even with no apps running it isn't responding.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

As a side Q that might tie into this, the usb stick I use is getting sluggish as well, and its only using 8 out of its 64gb size...

Thanks very much!

Whenever that has happened to me, I've later discovered that there was an application that was not responding. Since there may be no visual indication of this, Alt+Tab through your tabs to see if have an unresponsive application, and then force-quit it. Good luck.

Actually, just ignore my reply. Now I noticed you said you had no apps running... Sorry.
