Hi all
About 2 weeks back I removed Microsoft Office from my Mac. Or better, I tried to remove it. I started the remove program, which was actually showing that I had 2 different versions installed (which actually is not the case). So I checked both versions, but the uninstaller terminated immediatly with error code -50, unexpected error occurred...(Microsoft still seems not to be able giving clear error messsages to the user). So I restarted the uninstaller and guess what? The uninstaller told me I had 3 versions installed....Hmm, ok, again, I select all 3, and the uninstaller again breaks, same error.
So I tried to see how to remove it differently and saw the there mostly are only procedures, which need a lot of manual steps, so I thought, ok leave it on my mac. But after I restarted my Mac another day the Office was gone...Huh????
Well, I thought, ok, that's what I wanted anyway, but of course, not everything was deleted. Has anyone ever experienced a similar issue with removing Office?
Thanks, René

Personally, I've had good luck with removing office in the past.

In my experience, Microsoft Office usually uninstalls easily using the Remove Office app. When it doesn't, which is on rare occasion for me, I manually located files and delete them.
