I recently upgrade to play with Mac Os 14, been going perfectly. I noticed though on external hard drives i have no more photo image preview, has any one else noticed this yet either ?

YES i have gone through all the steps like you would on 13 and yes i did this too. : https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/fix-macos-file-icon-previews-not-showing/

It's strange i can plug in the external drive copy the folder to my other mac that is running os 14 copy it to the desktop and POOF i see icon preview, what am i missing ?

Something hidden in os 14 ?

I think it bug.
same problem to me on M.2 drive

EXACTLY what im using, m.2 and i even tried a 2.5" ssd by copying my data to it. FML, so hard to make videos when i have to click on the image then space bar to see everything..

It is a bug for sure...

I also have no previews of JPGs when I look in a folder on a NAS, but when I open a folder on the internal disk, it shows the JPG previews.

I checked using a Ventura Mac, and all is fine, all folders show previews and not the standard JPG icon.
