I seem to have daily Kernel panics now with Mac OS Sequoia on a 2019 Mac Pro. Has anyone else experienced these? Best I could dig up was mention of an issue with accessing multiple external drives, which I do have.

Any ideas, any fixed etc. reported yet in beta?

My 2019 iMac running Sequoia has just had two kernel panics; this afternoon I attached an external USB SSD, alongside an external TimeMachine drive. I have now removed the SSD, and will see if that stops the panics.

To OP @eflx and member @chrome-dome :

Was it ok before 15.2? Asking ´cause I also have an Intel Mac, a Macmini Late 2018 (with a boatload of external drives) Obviously, you are on beta?

Thanks,

Patrice
I'm not on Beta, just a standard Sequoia install. These were the first kernel panics I've had, but a lot has changed with my Mac over the last week. I had to replace the Fusion Drive, so put in a 2TB Samsung SSD. That was all working fine for three days (with one external USB3 drive connected to a hub), then yesterday I added a small SSD external USB3 drive, and had two kernel panics in quick succession after it had been connected for around an hour. Removed it, and so far so good.

Ok, sorry. You are then on 15.1.1. For me, no KP with a bunch of drives attached. However, knowing that @eflx mentions specifically « 15.2 » in the thread title is worrying a bit, unless he’s still on 15.1.1?
