My startup disk no longer shows Mac OS 9. I'm currently running OS 10.3. I still use OS 9 because I still run a couple programs. I tried to reinstall OS 9 but a message flashed saying OS 9 is "already installed." ??
How do I get OS 9 back in my startup disk? I was hoping someone could help me out. Thanks.

You don't want to partition the drive. That'll cause you to lose all your data. If you view the root of your drive is there a System Folder there with the orange 9 on it?
