I use a mac mini Late 2011 with 8GB RAM.

    1. Do you think i should enable programs like cloudapp, textexpander, logmein, airvideo after log in or enable them to start at log in.... i am asking if it is better for the OS to have a clean boot for the first time.

    2. Wake up from Sleep mode is way faster than any Windows pc i ve ever used. It needs around 3-4 secs to wake up after i double click the trackpad. Is there any way for instant wake up?

It's mostly personal preference, but the more things you have launching on login, the longer it takes, obviously. Here are a few ideas that may help:
Replacing your HDD with a SSD would dramatically speed things up.

You are experiencing the spin up of the slow 5400RPM drive that is installed. Upgrading to a SSD (watch this install video) to see all the install stuff.
