Hello,

First of all I must say that I'm new on this forum and as well with Macs. I only have some experience with Final cut pro. Primarily I'm Windows user.

Our organisation (Faculty of electrical engeneering, Ljubljana, Slovenia) has two pover Mac's with OS X installed. One of them is working slow and above all Final Cut closes uncontrollably.

My question is what is the main differnce between new install
of OS X on Mac and Windows on PC. Some basic infos or how to would be useful.
If there is similar thread on this forum I am sorry for this one and would like to ask you to point me to right thread.

Best regards

You're going to have to be more specific.

A new install of OS X is no different to a new install of Windows. It's a clean OS and you start from scratch.

To do a clean install of OS X you just pop the disc in and turn on the machine holding down the C key.

What exactly do you want to know?
