Hi all, reader of this site since I became an Apple fan when the 3G came out last year and now this is my first post!

I have a Dell Latitude 6300 with windows xp and really want Mac OS X Leopard on it. Had a look on apple website and I believe it is £83 which i am happy to pay....any ideas how to install it on a windows pc? It's not worth buying a mac as its a uni laptop which I got for free for my PhD studies...will I have issues with drivers for wireless, keyboard, graphics etc...

    Thanks,

    Liam

Please see the Merged Hackintosh Thread. We do not provide specific help for this.

You can also check the insanelymac.com forums
They have probably the best support group for the Hackintosh

We have enough trouble providing support for the Mac Users, toss in the PCs and it would get ugly.

Seriously? I haven't seen any really in-depth questions from OS X users in quite some time.

I can at least tell you that you will have problems with drivers.

It violates the user agreement you "agree to" when you purchase and load the OS. There is a lot of debate on whether that is illegal or not, but it is certainly "not supported".

while there are ways to install it, if you have a problem you are on your own - Apple will not help you with any issues you run into.

I post this each time I see a Hackintosh thread, and it seems popular.
