Does anyone think that :apple: update Safari not often enough?
Despite Chrome and Firefox being great alternatives, they do not offer two finger swiping to move forward and backward within pages, plus they both are not really optimised as I often have freezes when dealing with Flash on said browsers.
However, Safari is a memory hog. Despite having 4GB of RAM on my MBP, Web Process for Safari constantly takes up almost a gig full with around 7-8 tabs opened. It also takes a long time to start (I will get an SSD in the future, probably after I got the iPad 3). The performance sometimes has hiccups but it happens not often enough (as compare to others) to be a bother to me.
So anyone on the same boat here?

You can swipe with Chrome... I do it all the time... Not sure what you're talking about.

Tried three-finger-swiping yet? I am not on Lion, thus I don't know, how Apple changed their gestures. Maybe have a look at BetterTouchTool.

Well. Three fingers swiping is default as switching between pages. Even though I can change back to three fingers swiping for page switching, it is still buggy on Chrome. Plus my problem with Chrome isn't only swiping
