Mac os x 10.4.11 doesn't detect Canon printer

So, I just downloaded the CAPT_V330 driver and want to get my Canon LBP6000/6000B printer synched. But my 10.4.11 OS does not pick up any printer icon from the USB. Does anyone know what to do?
