Same here. On Thursday, my hopes were very high, with the gold master news, and then this tiger movie. However, it was not to be. I'm hoping early this week! 🙂

Finally watched this thing. I don't know what the big deal is, for all this hype it's pretty boring. The original music is a little tepid, but appropriate. The modded music is completely inappropriate. That's all.

I'm with you on this. It's ok but it's not of blow me away/out of this world standards. And I really dont like the backingtrack.

I sort of expected something a bit more out ther and original from apple. But in the end who really cares as you only have to see it a few times at most.

It appears one user posted the intro video for Apple's Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger).

The welcome video typically appears on first boot after installation of Mac OS X.

The new video shows a spotlight moving across a blue Mac OS X desktop background displaying the word "Welcome" in several different languages.

The video appears to blank out halfway through, but may simple be the point in which Apple displays registration information dialogs.

There is a modified version of that intro movie - tiger intro mod. Does anyone know where that new soundtrack comes from? Can I download that music from somwhere?

That's strange. The intro always plays. It starts automatically after the installer is finished and once it's done it leads straight into the setup questions. Maybe you were making a coffee or something.

I think Apple already caught wind of what was going on, this users .Mac homepage has been removed. 🙁
