uh...............I just made up that number on the fly
And good god-who says everything is set in stone?

Not set in stone, but Apple is a company that does things in predictable ways. That's why Apple watchers get excited every Tuesday. Not to say they won't do something different every once in a while, but generally historical patterns are a good indicator.

Im no expert, but I think that I have read/seen of an unusual Saturday release or 2 from 10.3

If so, they were wrong.

10.3 - 24 October 2003 (Friday)
10.3.1 - 10 November 2003 (Monday)
10.3.2 - 17 December 2003 (Wednesday)
10.3.3 - 15 March 2004 (Monday)
10.3.4 - 26 May 2004 (Wednesday)
10.3.5 - 9 August 2004 (Monday)
10.3.6 - 5 November 2004 (Friday)
10.3.7 - 15 December 2004 (Wednesday)
10.3.8 - 9 February 2005 (Wednesday)
10.3.9 - 15 April 2005 (Friday)

->but again dont sweat the small stuff.

Are you kidding? What do you think we're here for? :D

Maybe there is hope for tonight! :apple:

Usually in these cases, software companies version numbers go like this:
10.5.5
10.5.6
10.5.7
10.5.8
10.5.9
10.5.10
10.5.11 ....

Nevermind that it doesn't make sense according to MATH. :)

I know - I hate it when the %f argument to scanf chokes on a number with two decimal points.
