Who cares? We hear about iphonepodpads all day long.

I second that, nothing irritates me more than 'i-device' idiots chocking the forum with their take on things or clogging the forum with their Windows problems. If you like Windows so much then go and purchase a Zune/WP7 device and leave 'us' alone.

NW! If Lion is ramped for a Summer release and June is the first developer beta?! Doesn't make any sense. For the last few 10.X updates we have gotten steady beta's at LEAST one year before the GM build. Truth is, Apple's priorities aren't on OS X as much as they are on iOS. The billions in cash area testament to that fact.

No we didn't. The first snow leopard beta which was in ADC was around 7 months before GM.

they're like "whoops we gotta code this Lion thing we keep forgetting about"

This made me laugh i just wish that apple would concentrate more on the mac rather than iOS. i know iOS is a cash cow but still i don't want to see it become irrelevant :)

I have no doubt that many resources have been shifted to the iPad/iOS development. In a recent conversation with an Apple employee I was told that no one saw the iPad taking off the way it has so, yes, the bucks are poring in on the iOS side of things.

One other thing that may have been contributing to the apparent lack of Lion betas to 'the usual suspects' may be that much of the development work has been done in house due the lack of Sandy Bridge CPUs & such available to anyone other than major OEMs (such as Apple) on which to test Lion in a Sandy Bridge environment. I expect a flood of information about Lion beta releases once the Sandy Bridge hardware is actually delivered.

Wow, it was pretty sleazy to make an ambush video of someone (I don't care if that person is Steve Jobs) walking out of a cancer treatment clinic...
