Apparently I got word from a friend that Napoleon Dynamite is a personal favorite of Jobs (hmmm)...

So Jobs dubs a future version of Mac OS X 10.8 as...

Im still waiting on Ocelot. Surely that would be the coolest name for an OS ever.

I would like to see a mind-controlled UI. I don't think that's asking too much.

Another vote for Ocelot here too. Lion doesn't sound good. Serval might be good for the server version though...

How about OSX pussycat. or maybe OSX *****.

Or OSX 10.*****?

Or maybe doesn't have much of a ring to it after all:rolleyes:

YIKES! I WAS EDITED! I didn't know that was a 'bad word' you can guess what I intended ;)

Ocelot won't happen likely. Seeing as the next version of Ubuntu (version 11.10) is going to be called Oneiric Ocelot.

I already know what the last two versions of OSX will be. Since the cats need to continue getting larger, we will have:

MacOSX 10.8: Thundercat
MacOSX 10.9: Voltron

10.7 OSX Lion is a skip for me. what will 10.8 brings

since 2005 i've anxiously awaited every OSX release and updated ASAP.
this year 2011, OSX 10.7 is a disappointment.

• no resolution independence
• no changes to awfully old Finder interface (still no CUT & PASTE)
see: http://totalfinder.binaryage.com/
and: http://www.cocoatech.com/

• no themes - still the ancient Aqua
• no new file system like ZFS/UFS
• no advanced multiple-file copy behavior (etc. stacked paused queue for maximum speed - alike Windows 8)
• awful mission control - bring the spaces back as in 10.6
• useless lauchpad - who the hell needs that, you have APP stack on dashboard already!

these are the main issues that are on my mind.
