Mac os x capability of running .jad .jar files

I would like to run .jad files and .jar files.
I double click on them but they do not run at all.
The .jar file gives me an error 'could not be launched', and the .jad file asks me to select an application to open it.
I know it is all about java, but the osx can't run them somehow?

Somebody to help me?

Still no luck with all the updates of osx? No .jad or .jar runs.
Any ideas?

Try opening the file with the Jar Launcher:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Jar Launcher

google the mpowerplayer and download it...its free... then open player.jar which would be in the downloaded folder.... click on open and choose the .jar/.jad file u want to open...it works...i do it myself also
