hey, im a long time windows user who is switching to mac...
i have a few questions...a friend of mine owns a mac and i played around with it and found it to be a bit different to what im used to...lol
mainly:
1. 'select all' shortcut keys...(ctrl + a on winxp)...is there an alternative on mac osx?
2. maximize window....on windows its REAL easy...clcik the maximize window...what do you do on mac?

i know im noob...soz..lol...
thanks guys

1) Apple (or Command) + a
2) Apps on OS X don't maximise the same way as they do in Windows (at least mostly, Firefox is one app that does behave as you're expecting). They max to the max size that application needs, but no more. Nothing you can do about it, just how it works.
