I have a black Macbook Core 2 Duo, bought in December of '05, and recently Mac OS X has been quitting on me. It usually happens when I'm watching a video online, and the video starts skipping, and when I try and use the mouse it skips as well. So does audio. Then the monitor dims and a message appears telling me that I have to restart computer. When I restart it, it informs me that Mac OS X force quit. Help?

I'm sure you mean Dec. '06 ...

Insert the gray disc that came with it, and restart holding D ... Run the Apple Hardware Test ... it sounds like your RAM might be screwed up.

What you are experiencing is called a kernel panic. Have you upgraded anything in the computer recently? Do you have anything plugged in? How often does it happen? Please navigate to: Macintosh HD/Library/Logs/PanicReporter and post any of the logs here. (Open them in TextEdit). Also, post anything in the CrashReporter and HangReporter folders also.
