I hope you people understand the above sarcasm without having to read this.

although many, if not all, of these screenshots and videos are fake, it's really cool to see how creative people can get to kind of get "their" version of Leopard. I suppose we're getting close enough to time where we'll get a sneak peak at the real deal!

I'm all for starting a post with Leopard WISHFUL screenshots, not posts that claim if it is real or not. 99% of them are all fake. Maybe people could just let their creativity run and start a post and a few screenshots of what they hope Leopard will look like.

i've already done all the skinning (thanks uno;)), but ow do i make tabs?

I dunno, I just know that you can do it in Xcode. I think you make an Application that looks like the Finder only you give it tabs and use it in place of the normal Finder.

You'll have to ask somebody with some actual knowledge, I was just spilling stuff I've heard elsewhere.

I thought you could do this too. However its not as easy as i thought it would be. A couple things first from what I have found out is that finder does not have a .nib file, in almost every other app you can change its GUI just by editing this file(including the about this mac menu) But I can't find a .nib for the finder window, which means it would have to be totally recreated, to add tabs, however, the interface builder does not seem to have metal tabs. So this would have to be added through some other method. You could create them in safari, screen shot it, then put it into the interface builder but I don't know how that would turn out. There may be a shareware app that lets you add tabs to applications you are developing. I do not do much programming so maybe I am missing something. But I can't find a way to make metal tabs that are usable.(there probably is a way i just don't know how)
