Did you see any videos that would make the gestures easier to enable then doing wat they did? And for Lion? If theres an easier way I'd definitely give that a try instead of spending money on the trackpad (I might end up just buying a MBP later however)

Get a real mouse? I have a MBP, and I've never used any of the gesture crap. It has two real mice, one for desk, one for mobile.

White MacBook 2006 (2.5GB RAM)
Lion clean install.

I only have trouble with sound and video.
It is chopped when using iTunes and Chrome, or any other app.
Youtube videos play choppy.
It started to happend with the 10.6.8 upgrade with snow leopard. However, I did a clean install.

i upgraded myself, i still can't say if i like it or not! but it runs well and i the resume feature can really come in handy.although some animations are choppy, like going to full screen (specially QT X) and switching between spaces.

mmm... I'm having constant slow downs in Lightroom + iTunes, even iTunes stops playing or skips, and editing in Lightroom is difficult because the mouse pointer or wacom pointer slows downs and doesn't move sometimes.

How's anybody doing here?

i haven't experienced many slowdowns, but the ones i saw was in safari and iTunes. i've been checking memory and cpu usage stats in many occasions and i really don't see much of a difference compared to snow leopard.
