All this spyware, viruses, and trojon are design to effect PC only. There isn't any virus for Mac, sadly the truth behind it even mac fans refused to belive is that not enough percentage user using Mac, so no one create virus for Mac.

Try using LimeWire, or Kazaa the king of Windows detroyer and you will Garantee to force reformatting your hard drive and re-install OS within severals days.

There are ZERO effective self replicating viruses capable of affecting Mac OS X, but there have been recent proof of concept developments in a small handful of trojans that could in fact affect your OS X system.

Fortunately, as long as you only install software from known reliable sources, the risk in minimal.

Downloading pirated software from P2P networks does put you at risk because anyone with the skillz could re-label a destructive program as a popular application, just waiting for you to type in your administrative password.

Its not like they don't already have enough money.

This excuse sucks and is the worst excuse of all the bullsh*t excuses pirates came up with.

Steve Jobs has enough money, so why don't you just steal your Mac from an Apple store?

Just because it is easier to steal copyrighted music and movies than it is to steal a Mac does not change the fact that they are both stealing.

Would you do your job for free? If there is no incentive to create, then nobody will.

Although you probably don't have a job as the vast majority of pirates out there are still teenagers and college kids.
EDIT: I see that you are a teenager....

Please people, do not steal music or other copyrighted material. It is not right and if you do it, no matter what crappy justification you give, you are a thief. Period.

Is it legal to share music if both parties own a copy of the original music??

I have an old lp collection and have digitized some of it. However, is it legal to download a copy of the original track on-line as long as I own it on an album or a 45.

Copying lps and 45s is slow and I may not live that long :)

Ya, because that matters at all...

It's still their property you are stealing. By thinking of this lame, little excuse that I've heard so many times before you are just trying to justify stealing in your little mind. It's a wrong justification. Why pay taxes? The government already has enough money.

Well most of their money comes from concerts and not by selling their albums. And if stealing a mac was as easy as it is with music then there would probably be alot of people doing that too. They definetly arn't doing their job for free and they can afford it alot more than I can. Ya I am a teenager but I do have a job. And no stealing music isn't right but most people don't really care and would much rather do something that is "not right" than give all their money to some rich bastards. And I doubt that there is a person on this forum that can honestly say that they have never stole anything.
