Hi,

I'm interested in setting up a PowerMac G5 to be an email and web server. I will use postfix for email and apache for web server. My question is that OS X server has a 10 client version and an unlimited version. What does apple mean by "client". Is this in regards to users accessing file server? Do I even need the server edition of panther? I know I don't need panther server for web hosting but do I need it for email serving?

Thanks

The only difference between the two is that the 10-client version limits file and windows sharing to 10 simultaneous clients. You can have any number of users, but only 10 can connect to those services at the same time.
